Nick Compton has represented England at the highest level, playing in 13 test matches as a top order batsmen scoring over 700 runs. 'Compo' made his international debut in 2012 and has toured, India, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka with the national side, with one of his highlights scoring back to back centuries against New Zealand, finishing the series with an average of 46.40. Nick has enjoyed a career with Somerset, Marleybone CC, Mashonaland Eagles and two very successful spells with Middlesex. Nick has scored almost 7,000 runs in just under 200 appearances for Middlesex, including 13 centuries. In recognition of his achievements with the club, Nick has been awarded a Testimonial year in 2018. In 2012, whilst playing for Somerset, Nick was awarded the prestigious PCA Player of the Year award, and the following year was recognised as one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Year.

Paul Nixon is one of cricket’s true legends, ‘Nico’ enjoyed a glittering career representing Cumberland, the MCC, Kent, Delhi Giants, Leicestershire and England. His 23-year cricket career saw him lift three T20 titles and two County Championships for Leicestershire, whilst also becoming Club Captain and a fans’ favourite in the process. Paul was also part of the Natwest Pro40 title winning team with Kent in 2001.
In 2007, at the age of 36, Paul was called in to the England squad and represented his country at T20 and One-Day International level, winning a series against Australia and New Zealand, before starring in the World Cup in the West Indies. Nixon retired from the game in 2011 after leading Leicestershire to the T20 title and a place in the Champions League T20 qualifying stage.

Simon Jones MBE played internationally for England as a right-arm fast-medium bowler and left-handed tail-end batsman. Simon was an important member of England's triumphant Ashes-winning team in 2005, and he took an enviable 18 wickets at 21 in four Tests. He also played county cricket for Glamorgan, Worcestershire, and Hampshire and was Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 2006.

Former Sussex and Durham County cricketer, Martin played top class cricket for 15 years as a right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper in a career that saw him score over 9,000 First Class runs and 5,000 One Day runs. Since retiring, Martin has developed a prestigious coaching career as a level 3 professional coach, with 9 years as Head Coach at South Northumberland CC where he helped to develop arguably one of the best amateur cricket clubs in the country; winning three National Club competitions and in 2010 becoming the first club to reach both National Club Finals. Martin has also coached age group teams and elite wicketkeepers at Durham CCC, is currently Head Coach at the prestigious Sedbergh School in Yorkshire, and has led his age group teams to nine National Finals days in both the T20 and 40 over formats.
