Star Coaches

Our Star Coaches put their names to our Academies and spend at least one day on the Academy, coaching every child on the course. Our Star Coaches and Players will hold a Q&A session during their time on the Academy when the children have the opportunity to grill the Star Athlete about how they got into their chosen sport and what it’s like to participate at the highest level in sport.

Everyone receives a certificate of participation signed by the Star Athlete and the inspiration to play more!   and we encourage Athletes to come with a question, ready to grill them on their career, a skill or just to get some insight as to what being a professional sports person involves.

Lead Coaches

Our Lead Coach will run the Academy each day and are responsible for ensuring the coaching programme is delivered to a high standard and that each young athlete is participating at a suitable ability level. They will also be the first port of call for parents when dropping off and picking up athletes.

Coaches

We employ a team of qualified coaches on each Academy who are responsible for delivering inspiring, engaging and fun sessions each day that develop each young athlete at their individual level. We look to use coaches with a minimum of a level 2 qualification (or relevant level of coaching qualification in sports or activities without this type of numbered structure) who we feel have the personality and motivation to deliver sessions in the Academy of Sports way.
